Full documentation from inception of the idea to creation of the final project
At the start of the project I had to come up with an idea. I first went on googled 3D printed phone holders. When I did that I found a lot of ideas to choose, from stick figures holding up your phone. To phone holders that get held up by your charger box when its plugged into a outlet. I finally found one that could fit you phone laying on its side and could charge at the same time. I then created the design using inventor. I then put that design on a flash drive and printed the design using a 3D printer.

Recipe
First click on settings in MakerBot. Then check if quality is at standard and that raft is checked. Also put on supports only needed if you have an object that has an overhang or something that is not supported by the printing bed. Then click OK, Export Print File. Click save then a export box will pop up to prepare your preview of your object. When finished press Print Preview. Use the layer slider on the left to see how your print will run. Then click close, OK, and put your MakerBot file on your flash drive. Take your flash drive/file on it down to the Innovation Center and Insert your flash drive into the front of the printer. Use the wheel to scroll to USB Scroll to find your file. Press the wheel to select and wait for the machine to heat. Stay with the printer until your raft is complete and the object has started to print.

Summary paragraph of what you learned in this individual 3D printing rotation
In this rotation I learned a lot about 3D printing that I didnt know before. When learning how to use the printers I learn how to change the filament. I also learned how to create something on my own and 3D print it using inventor. It was fun trying out new tools in order to create this project on inventor. I made an assembly and jointed the two parts together witch was really cool. Then to print this whole phone holder overnight was also really interesting to see.
